Who We Are

The Colorado chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier is a collective of forward-thinking and successful female leaders in the food, beverage, hospitality, nutrition and agricultural fields whose mission is to support education and philanthropy in those fields.

We grant scholarships to aspiring professional women in food, beverage, and hospitality, as well as celebrate and support Colorado women-led businesses. Our vision is guided by three objectives: Education, Diversity, and Philanthropy. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.

As a vibrant and growing chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, our Colorado Chapter’s diverse membership represents influential female leaders in the food, beverage, hospitality, nutrition and agricultural fields. We strive to be a positive influence in our community and to provide opportunities for others to be equally influential and respected in their personal and professional communities.

Our signature event, The Big Stir Festival, is our main fundraising event for our scholarship fund.

Leaders across the diverse landscape of food, beverage and hospitality, our members are committed to mentorship and resource-sharing to serve the advancement of women in our industries. Throughout the year we hosts educational programs and valuable peer-to-peer networking events that serve as a critical conduit for relationship building and career development.

In addition to attracting more diverse new members to our chapter, our signature event, The Big Stir Festival, celebrates diverse women leaders in food, beverage, and hospitality. We award ten women leaders of diverse ages, backgrounds, and careers our Colorado Leadership Award.

The Colorado chapter of LDEI is proud of our scholarship program. Our scholarships provide aspiring students in the world of food, beverage, and hospitality with financial assistance.
